Havillah Children Center enjoying lunch (Kenya)

We still profess that a little goes a long way. Food is essential to survival. $20 can buy a bag to give breakfast for the school. Bridge Africa does not usually include food as a part of its program, but with Havilah Childrens School, in Kenya, we agreed to do this, as it will help the children kids focus and perform better in school. Indeed, some children, have their ONLY 2 meals in school, breakfast, and lunch.

Where a child comes from a low-income family, or they are vulnerable or orphaned, and consequently looked after by their grandparent,  it can be financially difficult to keep 3 square meals on the table.  BAF is calling on non-profits who focus on giving food, and in some cases packed lunches, to partner with us to assist in the plight of children within our school partnership, communities.
