Critical thinking workshop and books @Richard Oyebode School, Nigeria

Richard Oyebode School, Ibadan Nigeria, is a dedicated Christian primary and secondary school. This year, Bridge africa foundation partnered with them in pushing forward the joint vision to sustain quality education.

December 2021 we partnered in a different way by offering hands on training in critical thinking, with books for the students. The training was led by Professor Leo Igwe, who has been active in encouraging the government to adopt a critical thinking approach to learning for schools. Critical thinking benefits are crucial. It encourages curiosity, creativity, reinforces problem solving abilities and more. It’s a skill a child will have for life and not just for learning.

We are so happy teachers and the school leader, Venerable Omowole embraced and welcomed this instruction lead.
